We are proud to announce that Fiber Profil has been mentioned in Issue No. 152 (September–October) of the renowned international publication JEC Magazine, within the specialized section Rail Solutions, dedicated to the most relevant innovations in the railway sector.
The article highlights the project developed by the AERFITEC consortium—formed by Aernnova, Fidamc, and Tecnalia, in collaboration with Talgo—within the framework of the European Shift2Rail initiative, aimed at fostering the development of a more sustainable, efficient, and innovative railway system in Europe.
As part of this initiative, Fiber Profil played a key role as a supplier of custom-made pultruded profiles, contributing to the creation of lightweight and high-strength structures for railway applications. Thanks to our expertise in advanced pultrusion processes, we were able to meet the project’s demanding technical requirements, particularly in terms of weight reduction and improved energy efficiency.
This project demonstrates how the integration of composite materials and innovative manufacturing technologies is essential to addressing the current challenges in railway transportation. At Fiber Profil, we reaffirm our commitment to developing solutions that deliver added value, sustainability, and technical performance to the sector.
